Jang Woo Hyuk clarifies his plagiarism controversy Published On Thursday, June 02, 2011

Although he’s just made a comeback, singer Jang Woo Hyuk was unfortunately swept up in a plagiarism controversy. Netizens had speculated that his “Time is [L]Over” track carried a chorus that’s similar to B2ST’s “Freeze.
In response, the star clarified the issue through his Me2day by writing, “I have read the reports of plagiarism regarding ‘Time is [L]Over. First of all, ‘Time is [L]over’ was created before B2ST’s ‘Freeze’.  The chorus in question also cannot be a problem as Shinsadong Tiger created both parts.”
He continued, “Junior Yong Junhyung also wrote the rap, which made the song that much more impressive. I’m very happy for that, so fans, please don’t be too worried.”
Shinsadong Tiger had also previously written, “‘Time is [L]Over’ was created before B2ST’s ‘Freeze.’ Although the two choruses have similar melodies, the details of the song and the way it flows is completely different.”
