Seoul opens its first K-Pop concert hall! Published On Saturday, June 25, 2011


Korea’s first concert hall exclusively built for the use of K-Pop musicians opened on June 22nd in Seoul! Singers have utilized major stadiums in the past for concerts but now, there is another one they can add on to the list.
In the lobby, people can check out a history of K-Pop, from the 1920’s to the 2000’s. There is a main hall that seats 2,452 people. Additionally, there is a small hall that fits 240 people seated.
The whole hall took around a year for construction. The entire concert hall can seat up 3000 people, a perfect size for a small to medium sized concerts.
In celebration of the concert hall’s grand opening, stars ranging from today’s idols to iconic stars from the 60’s and 70’s performed onstage, attracting hundreds from across the country.
