Former Crown Princess Himani Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah of Nepal was born
in October 1, 1976 in Kathmandu. Himani is the wife of the former crown
prince Paras Shah and daughter-in-law of ousted king Gyanendra Shah.
A Surya Vanshi – Shekhawat Rajput, Himani, is from the royal family of
Sikar state in Rajasthan, India. Himini is the daughter of Raja Vikram
Singh and Rani Bipula Singh.
Himani married then prince Paras Shah on 25 January 2000. Her husband
was appointed Crown Prince of Nepal on October 26, 2001 but was
stripped-off his title on 28 May 2008 when, the monarchy in Nepal was
officially abolished. Himani has three children – two girls and a boy.
The eldest daughter Purnika Shah was born on December 11, 2000 in
Kathmandu. Second child Hridayendra was born on July 30, 2002 and the
third child Kritika was born on October 16, 2003.

sixteen-days after her husband ex-crown prince Paras Shah left for
Singapore.
Himani went paragliding in Pokhara on May 29, 2009 with Brazilian pilot
Wildes Antonioli. Antonioli said Himani attained a height of 3,250
meters. Himani said it was her maiden paragliding flight and it was a
sublime experience. The security persons took control of a THT lensman,
Krishnamani Baral, after he clicked Himani in mid-flight. They took him
to Lakeside from Khapaundi and deleted the photos.

Himani Shah celebrated her 34th Birthday on October 1, 2009
by meeting the senior citizens residing at the Old-Age Shelter Home
located in the Pashupati Nath Temple premises.

Himani’s Dolkha visit on met with protest from local Maoist cadres. When
a photo journalist got the glimpse of the bellybutton piercing of
Himani, the photo got published in Kantipur.
